A Wednesday

"They questioned on a Tuesday. I answered on a Wednesday" -
The punch dialogue from the movie.

Every Indian's (Except politicians) feeling has been expressed in this movie.......

If a cockroach enters in your house, what will you do???
Give the same treatment to these bastards (pardon my language).....

Absolutely flawless movie......

A MUST WATCH......

Wait for your turn....

I am not a topper in my school days.  But not an average student.  Somewhat above average.  My rank was within 10 – 15 out of 60 students.

I took 90% in my SSLC.  The driving force to achieve 90% was to get into Class 11 A first group i.e., Science + Computer Science (I don’t understand why they address Science group as First Group and Commerce group as Third Group) .

The day I have to select whichever group I want came.  My father wanted me to do CA as he was unable to complete that course and I chose Commerce group.

It was year 2000.  The Y2k problem had been resolved and there was a global IT boom.  Many of my friends were in 11A (Science) and I was in 11E(Commerce).  My teachers in 10th Std. were not happy with my group selection.  Anyway I believed my dad’s words.  Yes, he was right.

A CA has a choice of opting between working for an MNC in a metro city and practicing in hometown (Sivakasi) itself.   Whereas a Computer Engineer is not having that choice.

Anyway, for eight years I had a goal – CA final pass in first attempt – and I did it.  Glitters in my Dad's Eyes.

The problem now is balance training period of 9 months (Aug 08 to March 08).

No challenging assignments in the firm I get training.  Receiving the same stipend on 10th of every month despite being a qualified CA.  Most of all – no definite and clear goals in life.  Staying in a pleateau and not climbing on a moutain. It’s really boring.  Yes, I can relax and shape my personality for my future career.  I am trying to do that....

Meanwhile the old pals who selected the First group are now getting Rs.20K – Rs.25 K and some studious guys (Rank 1 to Rank 5) are enjoying On-site training (Abroad trip) in Software Companies.  They are updating their orkut profile photos with Singapore and USA backdrops which makes me slightly envy over them.

CA teaches me more patience than accounts.  You have to wait for your turn.

Ban on Smoking....

The Govt. has banned smoking at public places from GandhiJeyanthi 2008.
It is welcome law.

But, will it work in our India?
Our Indians have the mentality written in our DNA, not to obey the rules.
"If you pass a rule, I won't follow it. Do whatever you can ..."
So, to really make it work, what should be the solution?

We the people (You and me) should have the initiative.
Why should others inhale the ashes from your lungs?
Will you be happy to have a corporation garbage van nearby to you?
You will begin to vomit when you even think of that deadly smell of garbage lorry.
Same for non- smokers the cigarette smell is.
Smoking may soothen you or make you relax or even make your brains cell activated.
1. But, it just invariably irritate the non-smokers.
2. Moreover, it creates an impression about how you lived your boyhood.
So smokers, do think of the non-smokers. Put your nose to a public garbage before inserting the butt in your lips.

Think..........
